Little Bear had never been to the river before.
Mama Bear held his paw as they walked through the trees.
When they arrived, Little Bear stopped and stared.
The water was sparkling! And it made a rushing, gurgling sound. And there were shiny pebbles at the bottom!
Little Bear put one paw in. It was cold! He giggled.
He put the other paw in. A small fish swam right past his toes.
"Again!" said Little Bear.
Mama Bear laughed. And Little Bear splashed all afternoon, happy as could be.
