A song came on the radio.
Mum started to sway. Just a little. Just her hips.
Then her feet started moving too.
"Mum's dancing!" said Finn.
He jumped up and danced too — big stompy jumps, arms waving everywhere.
Dad came in from the garden. He stopped. He watched. Then he grabbed Finn's hands and they spun in a circle.
The dog ran around everyone's feet, barking.
The baby in the high chair banged her spoon on the tray — bang bang bang!
When the song ended, they were all laughing and a little out of breath.
"Again!" said Finn.
Mum turned it up.
And they danced all over again.
