Princess Penny lived in a tall tower with a golden crown, seventeen dresses, and absolutely nothing to do.

"I want a quest," she announced to her royal turtle, Sir Crumpet. "A proper adventure."

Sir Crumpet blinked slowly, as turtles do.

Penny climbed down from the tower and walked into the kingdom. She expected dragons or riddles or at least a locked door. Instead, she found:

A baker who couldn't reach the top shelf. An old man whose garden was overgrown. A little girl crying because her kite was stuck in a tree.

Penny helped with all three. She climbed and reached and dug and pulled and untangled.

By afternoon, she was covered in flour, mud, and the smallest amount of dignity.

But something felt different. Warm, somehow. Like sunlight from the inside.

"Was that my quest?" she asked Sir Crumpet.

He blinked again.

That evening, Penny sat at her tower window watching the baker light his lamp, the old man tend his garden, the little girl fly her kite against the purple sky.

And Penny understood: the greatest quest isn't finding something magical.

It's making something magical — for someone else.

She climbed down the very next morning and did it all over again.
