1. Acceptance of terms
KidsStoryteller.ai is operated by KidsStoryteller, Inc., a Delaware corporation. By creating an account or using KidsStoryteller.ai, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of service
KidsStoryteller.ai is an AI-powered text-to-speech and video generation platform. We convert text you provide into narrated audio and, on certain plans, AI-illustrated video. The service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are a teacher or parent creating an account for educational use, you confirm you have the authority to do so.
By creating an account you expressly confirm that you are 18 years of age or older, that the account will be operated only by adults, and that you agree not to upload photographs of real children (see section 5, Image uploads).
4. Acceptable use
Unlimited video features are provided for personal creative use, subject to fair-use pacing: during periods of heavy use, new renders may be queued behind your earlier ones. Queued renders are always completed — they are never rejected or forfeited. Automated, resold, or bulk generation that circumvents pacing is not permitted.
You agree not to use KidsStoryteller.ai to generate content that:
- Is harmful, abusive, hateful, or harassing
- Violates the intellectual property rights of others
- Is sexually explicit or violent
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
- Is used to deceive, impersonate, or defraud others
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice or refund.
5. Content you provide
You retain ownership of the text you input into KidsStoryteller.ai. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process your text for the purpose of generating audio and video output. We do not use your story content to train AI models.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any text you input (e.g. copyright clearance for published works).
Image uploads. Reference and character images must be artwork, illustrations, AI-generated images, or fictional character designs. Do not upload photographs of real children. Photographs of a real adult may only be uploaded with that person's consent (your own likeness is fine). We may remove uploads that violate this policy and suspend repeat violators.
6. Generated content
Audio and video files you generate using KidsStoryteller.ai are yours to use, subject to the following:
- You may use generated audio and video for personal, educational, and commercial purposes (including YouTube channels)
- You may not resell or sublicence the service itself
- You may not use generated audio to train, clone or build a voice model in any software, including private models, for any of our voices (fictional child voices included)
- Generated content using public domain text is freely usable; ensure any input text you use is appropriately licensed
7. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. On cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period — you will not be charged again after that.
Credits are a separately priced component of every paid plan and of every one-time top-up: each credit's price equals the plan's monthly price divided by the plan's monthly credit allotment (for one-time top-ups, the pack price divided by the pack's credit count). Credits are delivered and usable immediately on payment.
No refunds once the service has started. Your service starts immediately after checkout: your plan's credits and the videos your plan includes (or a top-up's credits) are delivered as soon as payment completes. Once the service has started, no refund can or will be issued — this applies to monthly and yearly plans, one-time top-ups and partial billing periods. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at hello@kidsstoryteller.ai within 14 days. This policy is also published as our Refund Policy.
7.1 EU/EEA & UK consumers — right of withdrawal
Consumers in the EU/EEA and the UK normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from an online purchase. At checkout you expressly request that we start your service immediately — delivering your credits and the videos your plan includes right away — and you acknowledge that, because the service starts immediately at your request, you lose your right of withdrawal once it has started. We confirm your request and this acknowledgment to you by email after purchase. As a result, no refund can or will be issued once the service has started.
8. Free plan
The free plan does not include any generation allowance: free accounts may browse the catalogue and play sample audio, but generating narration, images or video requires a paid subscription (from $4/month). Unused subscription credits roll over for up to 90 days while your subscription remains active; any credits remaining when your subscription ends or is canceled expire at the end of the paid billing period. We reserve the right to modify free plan limits at any time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KidsStoryteller.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated audio will meet your specific requirements.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then through binding arbitration if necessary.
