1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using KidsStoryteller.ai, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of service
KidsStoryteller.ai is an AI-powered text-to-speech and video generation platform. We convert text you provide into narrated audio and, on certain plans, AI-illustrated video. The service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are a teacher or parent creating an account for educational use, you confirm you have the authority to do so.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use KidsStoryteller.ai to generate content that:
- Is harmful, abusive, hateful, or harassing
- Violates the intellectual property rights of others
- Is sexually explicit or violent
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
- Is used to deceive, impersonate, or defraud others
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice or refund.
5. Content you provide
You retain ownership of the text you input into KidsStoryteller.ai. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process your text for the purpose of generating audio and video output. We do not use your story content to train AI models.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any text you input (e.g. copyright clearance for published works).
6. Generated content
Audio and video files you generate using KidsStoryteller.ai are yours to use, subject to the following:
- You may use generated audio and video for personal, educational, and commercial purposes (including YouTube channels)
- You may not resell or sublicence the service itself
- Generated content using public domain text is freely usable; ensure any input text you use is appropriately licensed
7. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. On cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period — you will not be charged again after that.
We do not offer refunds for partial months except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at hello@kidsstoryteller.ai within 14 days.
8. Free plan
The free plan provides 3,000 characters per calendar month. Free plan limits reset on the 1st of each month. We reserve the right to modify free plan limits at any time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KidsStoryteller.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated audio will meet your specific requirements.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then through binding arbitration if necessary.
